Professional Courses

Dr. Bangsund also develops and teaches courses for lawyers and finance professionals engaged in secured transactions and other types of commercial debtor-creditor activity. He aims to ensure that courses designed for practicing lawyers are eligible for credit under the Law Society of Saskatchewan’s rules for Continuing Professional Development (CPD). For any given course, CPD-eligibility is subject to review and approval by the Law Society of Saskatchewan or an equivalent professional governing body in another jurisdiction.

Customized Professional Courses

Dr. Bangsund teaches and writes on many commercial law subjects including, without limitation, personal and real property security law, sale and leasing of goods, liens on goods, suretyship, bills of exchange, transfers of securities and other financial assets, banking and financial services, clearing and settlement systems, and set-off.
